24 June, 2009, by Desire Athow

The Z750 is Sony Ericsson's first tri-band HSDPA and quad-band EDGE enabled-phone and is also the first phone supporting Sony Ericsson's Java Platform 8 (JP-8).

This mirror-finish clamshell features a 2 megapixel camera, 320x240 pixel 262K TFT display, Memory Stick Micro removable storage, integrated picture blogging, full HTML browser benefiting from HSDPA broadband speed, live tickertape RSS feeds and Exchange ActiveSync for push email, calendar and contact synchronization.

The Z750 is the first phone to be based on Sony Ericsson's Java Platform 8 (JP-8), supporting Mobile Services Architecture (MSA) JSR 248, the next-generation Java umbrella standard. MSA aims to reduce fragmentation in the industry by creating a predictable environment for developers, reducing porting issues when developing new applications and games for the new generation of phones.

The Z750 is available in the Virtual Lab, Sony Ericsson Developer World's members-only on-line service for remote testing on pre-commerical Sony Ericsson phones. It also comes with 7 games, 64MB internal memory and 128MB memory card in the box.
