    Ben Chai of Incomingthought.com chats with Ed Gibson, Chief Security Officer at Microsoft, about the challenges of securing mobile technology.

    He gives some precious advices on how to keep data on mobile devices safe and secure and limit the risk of third parties accessing private information.

    Ed Gibson is the Chief Security Advisor for Microsoft UK. His main role is to serve as an advisor to Microsoft's customers and the public, and to the work that Microsoft is doing to improve the security of its products.

    Before joining the company, Mr Gibson had a 20-year career as a Supervisory Special Agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). He was a recognised expert in investigating complex, international money laundering schemes, asset identification and confiscation and intellectual property theft.
