Staff Writer
James Laird
James stumbled out of Goldsmiths College with a shiny English degree in 2011 and has been working as a journalist ever since. Starting out as a freelancer, he wrote for local news outlets and blogged extensively before deciding to eschew the dole queue in favour of more regular feeding patterns and take an internship at Net Communities. Since joining, he has learned an unhealthy amount about gadgetry, with mobile, tech politics, and the enigma that is Apple emerging as specific areas of interest. Now employed as a full-time staff writer, James is noted in the office for his Loyd Grossman-esque transatlantic drawl. He has a particular hatred of eBook readers.
