Lenovo Security to collaborate with Processor specialist.

Lenovo Security Technologies, Inc., a supplier of IT Security firewall and VPN solutions in China, announced that it has entered into a strategic relationship with Raza Microelectronics, a specialist in advanced semiconductor solutions for Communications, Networking and Consumer Applications, to develop next generation solutions built around RMI’s multi-core, multi-threaded XLR Processor™ Family.

Lenovo Security offers firewall and VPN solutions that protect throughout the network, including Internet gateways, gateways to sensitive internal networks, and client devices. Product offerings include the Power-V series and the Super-V series of firewalls, which are designed to meet the throughput requirements for companies of all sizes.

The partnership between Lenovo Security and RMI utilizes RMI’s XLR Processor as the foundation for development of products in the networking, security and communications markets. The business model of Lenovo Security is built on innovation, operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

This foundation lends credibility to Lenovo Security’s efforts in the communications and security markets where RMI’s XLR Processor maintains a leadership role and the partnership will enable both firms to accelerate growth in these fast-moving and challenging markets. The agreement will also enable the companies to leverage each other’s expertise in systems and software.
