Neighbourly madness in Mumbai surfaces

It seems that a 48-year-old housewife in Mumbai has had a bad time of things after strangers started calling her home phone and making indecent/sexual remarks.

Investigation by the Mumbai Cyber Crime Investigation Cell (CCIC) revealed that her 27-year-old neighbour - am electronics expert - had posted her details on a social networking site, along with obscene
comments asking members to call her for a chat.

Police ended up arrest Prakash Bijur, who lived in a flat next door to the lady and her husband, who say that Bijur had posted as many as eight profiles of the lady on the social networking site, as well as
erotic articles containing her name on

Incredibly it turns out that Bijur had had rows with his neighbours over parking issues and other matters.

The ICICI IT manager has been booked under various sections of the Indian Penal Code and the Information Technology Act, and is being remanded in jail until his appearance in court this Friday...
