Microsoft slashes its e-learning course fees till July

It is one of the hidden gems on Microsoft's website - not anymore, at least not for readers; the software manufacturer is giving away free Official e-learning courses.

The online courses are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week simply by registering on Microsoft's website.

The offer is limited to one individual Official Microsoft E-learning course per person and does not apply to course collections, groups of courses, or any large legacy course that has 12 or more hours of training.

The courses can be downloaded as videos and played offline.

You will need to have a Microsoft Passport account though and on registering, you will be provided with a promotional code which will be valid for 30 days following registration.

The courses include "Designing a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Active Directory and Network Infrastructure," which is worth over £200 or "Upgrading Web Development Skills from ASP to Microsoft ASP.NET".

Some users have also reported that they have managed to get more than one course using the same passport and code.
