Look at the Essentio CS5110 PC that hardware giant Asustek has added to its range of desktop systems. That's certainly the x86 twin to the Playstation 3 gaming console that Sony hid from everyone.
It is not surprising considering that Asus is one of the Original Equipment Manufacturers which the Japanese Consumer Electronics giant chose to built the PS3.
The Essentio is being pushed as the smallest desktop PC with a "fully embedded discrete graphic card", a very nice Blu-ray player, HDMI and 7.1 audio output.
Destined to be placed next to your gaming console, the Essentio is probably quieter than most computer system and its 80mm thickness means that you will hardly notice it.
It benefits from the same riveting, eye-pleasing, crystal-like glossy dark look to give it that beautiful satin finish.
Inside, the machine is powered by an Intel processor, coupled with a Nvidia MXM 8600M GT graphics module. It will also feature 802.11n and Bluetooth wireless connectivity.
There's no TV tuner though and expansion possibilities are next to nonexistent though; you still have 6 USB 2.0 ports and a card reader.
The Essentio CS5110 PC will be powered by Microsoft's Vista Home Premium OS and comes with a nice IR Remote Controller.
