LG Secret : Big on features but no iPhone Killer

Secret is the name of LG's new mobile phone; a new sexy device loaded with geeky features but still far, far behind the iPhone's mix of intuitive functionality and uber-cool style.

The KF750 is LG's Black Label edition phone (ed : think Johnny Walker whisky) and should satisfy "specifically developed to satisfy the refined tastes of trendsetters who desire a sophisticated designed, yet durable handset".

The phone is under 12 mm thick and made partly of carbon-fibre, which should make it resistant to everyday abuse; the 2.4-inch LCD touchscreen is made up of tempered glass which should resist scratches but not greasy fingerprints.

Feature wise, it packs a 5 megapixel camera which can record up to 120 frames per second in DiVX compatible format; the files can be edited using the phone's own set of software and come with Facial Editing technology

Interestingly, Google is supplying the onboard browser, You-Tube, maps and Gmail access - but that's no Google Android - with other applications converting the phone into a document viewer, a FM radio or a casual gamer platform.

The phone is EDGE and HSPDA compatible and comes with 100MB internal memory with an additional 4GB available though an optional 4GB MicroSD card.
