For instance, there are plenty of coolers pretty much guaranteed to cool 10 degrees better than the stock coolers that come with your retail processors. And about the only way to get them to cool better is to add your own louder more powerful fan.

Occasionally, there'll be some even better coolers from the likes of Zalman or Thermaltake which sell out faster than gasoline. So, left to frustration, the only way to get a cooler worthy of occupying a really nice system build is to order from Newegg or Pricegrabber. Why don't large retail stores carry similar, if not the same, coolers that are otherwise exceptional in performance?
