Asus New EEE Laptop Faces Beefed Up Competition

The light 990g computer is based on SSD (Solid State Disk) technology which allows shock proof, quiet, stable computing while saving energy at the same time thereby allowing its users to avail greater flexibility with their laptop.

Asus’ PC range is known for its user friendly designs and Eee PC 900 carries this trend forward.

The laptop has already been launched in Europe and Asia, to good reviews.

The laptop gives its customers the choice between Linux based models or Windows based models, both priced at the same rate of 549 dollars.

The laptop features display of 1024 x 600 with a graphic card of Intel UMA and storage of 20 GB.

There are built-in speakers, microphone and card reader along with a 1.3 megapixel camera.

The laptop has a WiFi 802.11 b/g that can connect to any hotspot without having to set it manually.
