Films Come To iPods After Hollywood Studios Deal

According to the recent reports, Apple is all set to start offering movies on iPods in UK and Canada.

This is for the first time that Apple has allowed its customers outside America to download full length Hollywood movies via iTunes.

The deal with Hollywood studios has secured the future of this project.

Apple reveals that from now on customers can get easy access to their favorite movies like “The Matrix” and “I am Legend” on iTunes.

Reports suggest that around 700 movies are expected to be available for the customers. The customers can either rent the movies or they can download it.

For the customers with broadband Internet connection, the movies will be available with a few seconds of renting it and they can enjoy it for a time period of 30 days after which it will get expired.

Eddy Cue, the vice president of iTunes, believes that the customers are surely going to love this move.

He is also confident that the move is going to have a great impact on the industry and it will also push the customers into the Apple ecosystem.
