LG Launches The KC550 Budget PAYG 5-megapixel Mobile Phone

Not the sexiest name around but this is certainly a mobile phone which will get you wonder... The KC550 nicknamed Orsay carries an affordable price tag, less than £170 unlocked which is quite low for a 5-megapixel cameraphone.

The KC550 also comes with an image stabilizer, Schneider-Kreuznach lenses as well as an accelerometer and the possibility to take 30 frames per second videos at 720x480 resolution and use the TV output to view your shenanigans in full glory on your 42-inch screen.

Although the phone is a 2G model, it is perfect for the snap-happy user - thanks to a dedicated camera button - and the part-time gamer who can relax by playing one of the six built-in motion sensitive games à la Nintendo Wii.

The slidephone supports microSD, comes with a 2.4-inch LCD screen (the LG site says 3.0-inch Touchscreen though) as well as a FM Radio.

The phone should be widely available by the end of June and you can already pre-order it here at (opens in new tab)
