T-Mobile Gets Pocket Friendly With 80% Drop In Data Roaming Charges

T-Mobile has declared that its data roaming costs within its European boundaries would come down from £7.50/MB (megabyte) to £1.50 per MB.

With this move, T-Mobile will become the most affordable UK operator that enables the customers to browse web while traveling abroad.

The mobile operator has also proclaimed that the text messaging rates will also be reduced from forty pence per text message to twenty pence per message.

Jim Hyde, the chief executive officer of T-Mobile, said that by slashing the European roaming charges, the company has shown its commitment and dedication in making overseas mobile usage more convenient and affordable.

T-Mobile is struggling to compete with O2, one of the cheapest mobile operators that offering data roaming in Europe.

This move is going to be favourable for T-Mobile as the reports suggest that no other mobile operator in Europe is planning to cut down the data roaming charges.
