LG Releases KS360 Slider, Keyboard-Enabled, Messaging-Oriented Phone

Gizmo freaks have yet another reason to party, as LG rolled out its KS360 slider phone in UK, primarily for its younger audience, who spend good amount of their time chatting on social networking sites.

The phone comprises of a sophisticated QWERTY keyboard, which allows an easy entry of text characters, and a touch screen panel for dialling numbers.

Although the device isn’t 3G, but it is fully loaded with messaging features, in addition, it also features a 2.0 megapixel camera, up to 4 GB of microSD storage, a WAP 2.0 browser, MPEG4 video, MP3 audio, Bluetooth, and polyphonic ringtones.

The handset is available in a striking range of colours, including- black and red, titanium and blue, black and silver, and white and pink.

“With the popularity of social networking sites and instant messaging amongst younger audiences, the KS360 has been designed so they can access these features when away from their computers”, LG’s Mobile Marketing Head, Jeremy Newing said.

The mobile phone will be available on O2 and Orange from August, primarily on a prepay basis.
