Sony Ericsson's Xperia X1 Smartphone Lands in UK; Available At A Price

UK customers can now order the fully loaded Xperia X1 from Sony Ericsson, on a pre pay basis, and the phone will be delivered free on launch day.

The chunky slider phone from Sony has all the ingredients to entice mobile freaks; the dimensions of the phone are 110 x 53 x 16.7 mm, and it weighs 145 g only.

Xperia X1 is a Wi-Fi enabled handset that includes a full functional QWERTY keyboard, High Speed Downlink Packet Access (HSDPA) technology, and GPS application.

Besides, the most striking feature of this handset is its Bluetooth 2.0 application with Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP), and its voice dialling characteristic.

The only thing that possibly can bother its users is its low in-built memory of 400 MB only; however, the storing capacity can be enhanced with the help of microSD memory card.

The device is all set to take on the other devices of its class, and it would cost around GBP599.99.
