Launch of smartphones for professionals and business users, seems to be the flavour of the month, as after the Palm Inc.’s Treo Pro, HTC has rolled out its S740 slider phone to lure the business segment.
The new device from HTC comes loaded with an advanced GPS application, and sports a sleek sliding QWERTY keyboard, to smoothen up the messaging process.
The handset is fully loaded with several impressive features, which include - quad-band support, 7.2Mbps HSDPA, 3.2 megapixel camera, 2.4” inch QVGA screen, an in-built memory of 256 MB with an expandable microSD card slot, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi support, FM radio, IMAP, etc.
Dr. Florian Seiche, VP HTC Europe said, “Demand for high performance, smart, mobile devices, continues to see strong growth globally and HTC is well positioned to meet the varying needs of the diverse customers.”
The device is expected to be launched in September this year.
