It seems that HTC is planning to augment its Touch series of Windows Mobile smartphones, as the picture and specifications of its new model, Touch HD, leaked on the internet.
The leaked specifications (thanks Modaco) mentions that the handset would flaunt an impressive 480 x 800 WVGA screen resolution, with the capability of displaying almost 65,000 separate colours; further, it is also said to offer HSDPA and Bluetooth 2.0+EDR support to its users.
Installed with the Qualcomm 7201 A processor running at 528MHz, the handset is also expected to include a 5-megapixel camera, 512MB ROM and 256MB RAM with an extra 32MB, microSD card slot, 3.5mm headphone jack, a GPS tracker, and 1350mAH battery.
The pictures also suggested that the new device is all set to take on Palm’s Treo Pro and Samsung’s newly launched Omnia.
This hot new device from HTC is expected to be around this Christmas.
