The Queen - who uses emails to communicate to Prince Harry and William, and apparently owns a Blackberry and an iPod - is planning to visit the UK headquarters of Google, somewhere during next month.
Along with the Duke of Edinburgh, the Queen will meet the team that created the popular Royal Channel on YouTube this year.
The 82-year old seems to embrace the new trends in technology and hence kept herself abreast with all the latest advancements around, and the visit to the Google headquarters is just another step in the same direction, a spokesman from Buckingham Palace stated.
Google asserted that it is pleased with the soaring popularity of the Royal Channel, and stated that the company is pouring huge investments in UK for exploring talents in the country.
While conferring honorary knighthood to Microsoft founder Bill Gates in 2005, the Queen admitted that she didn’t use the computer till then; however, she has started using the internet in 2006 and turned out to be a big fan of the services.
The presence of Larry Page and Sergey Brin during her visit is yet to be confirmed.
