Google has come up with an innovative contest that offers a sum of 10 million dollars for five new ideas that can change the world and benefit people.
The contest which is being held to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Google will be open to entries from across the world and the submissions can be made in various languages.
Interestingly the contest is being labelled as Project 10^100; a nomenclature that sounds quite typical of Google.
A press release from Google mentioned that “"These ideas can be big or small, technology-driven or brilliantly simple, but they need to have impact"
In addition the press release also noted the fact many are many brilliant ideas are in need of funding to bring them to fruition and this initiative is a step in that direction.
A team of Google employees supported by an advisory board will narrow down the submissions to about 100 ideas which will then be put forward before the public for a vote.
