LG Launches Second Version of Luxury Prada Handset

LG has officially announced the details of its LG Prada II handset, scheduled to be launched before the end of this year.

Except for the ultra thin keyboard that slides from under the device, LG Prada II shares stark similarities with the original Prada touchscreen phone.

The intriguing QWERTY keyboard sported with the handset is expected to offer a great emailing and chatting experience to mobile web surfers; in addition, it also boasts of the erstwhile ‘on-screen’ keypad for general calling and messaging purposes.

Moreover, the handset also offers 3G/HSDPA connectivity, HTML browsing, Wi-Fi support, video calling, TV-out, FM radio and a swanky 5-megapixel camera with Schneider-Kreuznach certified lenses.

The handset is expected to be available with a price tag of 600 euros in UK, Italy, France, Germany, Netherlands and Spain in the final quarter of 2008 - that's substantially more than the iPhone 3G.

With its trendy looks and smart features, the new LG Prada II is ready to slide into the pockets of phone fashionistas.
