Toshiba Releases New Tecra and Protege Business Notebooks

In its first Mobility Conference in Zurich, Toshiba has unveiled an all new revamped series of business notebooks, including Tecra R10, Portege R600 and A600, but the real show stealer of the conference was its NB100 netbook.

The stylish NB100 which sports a 8.9-inch wide screen is powered by 1.6 GHz Intel Atom processor that would provide speedy performance to its users.

The other features of the device include, a 1GB RAM with 120GB hard drive, 800MHz DDR2 memory, and 802.11 b/g Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity.

Crammed in a matte black plastic body with silver edges, NB100 comprises of three USB ports, a feature that takes it to the class of advanced netbooks available in the market; however, the pricing of the device is not announced yet.

Furthermore, Toshiba’s Portege 600 notebook rests among the “world’s thinnest and lightest” range of laptops, as it’s only 1.18-inch thick and weighs 2.14lbs only.

Portege 600 is all set to sway the notebook enthusiasts with its remarkable mix of style and features, which includes, 12.1-inch LED-backlit screen, Intel Core duo processor, and 2GB RAM with 160GB HDD or 128GB SSD.
