T-Mobile today has spruced up its offerings for mobile broadband services, by adding a new Option USB wireless modem into its broadband inventory.
The sophisticated HSUPA USB modem, tagged as “iCON 430”, manufactured by a technology company, Option N.V. is designed to offer speedier and future-proof broadband connectivity to its users.
Marketed by T-Mobile, as “USB Stick 530”, in UK, the USB modem is capable of downloading at impressive speeds of up to 7.2 Mbps, and has an equally striking uploading speed of up to 5.7 Mbps.
With its tri-band HSPA capabilities in the 900, 1900, and 2100 MHz bands, the modem is all set to offer enhanced mobile broadband connectivity in countries all across the planet.
Option’s exclusive Zero-CD “Plug-n-Play” feature ensures automatic installation of all the essential drivers and applications, when the modem is connected to the PC for the first time.
In addition to its user-friendliness characteristics, the device is extremely easy to carry with its sleek dimensions, and well-equipped to store huge amount of data, with its Micro-SD card slot that can accommodate memory card of 8GB storage capacity.
Commenting upon the Option’s role in mobile broadband market, Jan Callewaert, Option’s CEO said in a statement, “We're delighted that now our USB modems will contribute to the continued success of T-Mobile's mobile broadband proposition in Europe”.
