Following the classic first come first serve notion, Nokia has announced that the customers who are first to grab its Nokia 5800 XpressMusic mobile phone when it comes on Friday 23rd January will obtain some special content pre-loaded on the handset.
The Nokia Store at the Regent Street will be opened early at 8am, and the first 200 customers who purchase handset from the store will get some exclusive content pre-loaded on the device.
This gift pack from Nokia will include three films from Futureshorts, namely ‘I Met The Walrus’, ‘Crab’, and ‘Surprise’, as well as some of the other bundled applications, such as Touch Guitar, Touch Piano, Guitar Rock Tour, and Sports Tracker.
Well, if this is not all, the first 100 customers of the device will also get free tickets to the Benicassim Music fest in Spain.
Nokia 5800 XpressMusic, the first ever touchscreen handset from the Finnish giant, boasts of a 3.2-inch display screen with 640 x 340 pixels resolution, and comes with a handful of advanced features, such as Wi-Fi, GPS, a bundled 8GB memory card, 16:9 aspect ratio, and many more.
The handset will be available SIM-free with a price tag worth £249 from Nokia Stores from 23 January, and through other stores, including Vodafone, Orange, T-Mobile UK, O2, Virgin Mobile, Phones 4U, and Carphone Warehouse from the 30th of January.

Nokia's decision to give out free exclusive content to the first 200 customers only is probably not the way to go. It would have been much better for the company to entice potential customers with something beefier than a few films and a few applications. Sony gave a free £2500 HD TV to the first 100 customers when they released their PS3 gaming console on Oxford Street.
