Acer forthcoming net-top box, the Aspire Revo, is set to be launched on the 18th of May with prices as low as £151.
UK Retailer Play.com has published details about the cute pint-sized PC and is already taking orders for the computer. What sets apart the Revo from other similar priced equally diminutive computers is the fact that it is the first to feature Nvidia's ION integrated graphics subsystem which promises excellent video performance thanks to the integrated Nvidia 9400M GPU.
All four models feature an Atom N230 processor running at 1.6GHz and the base model comes with 1GB RAM and a 8GB SSD alongside a Linux operating system. The top of the range model has twice the RAM, a 3D Game controller similar to a Nintendo Wii peripheral, Wireless keyboard and mouse and Windows Vista Home Premium complete with 10 games.
But already, we've seen entry level Aspire Revo models available for as little as £151.05 (at OnestopPCshop). The computer also comes with wired and wireless connectivity out of the box, a card reader, 6 USB 2.0 ports as well as an eSATA connector, HDMI and VGA ports.
The Revo will be one of the very few computers capable of supporting 7.1 channel audio, full HD (1080p) and Vista as well. Punters will be able to upgrade its memory to 4GB while the hard disk storage can be pushed to 250GB.

Revo, as some will remember, is also the name of a PDA launched back in 1999 by UK-based company Psion. That same Psion which has threatened an all-out battle against companies which are using its trademark designation, "Netbook", to sell their cheap ultra portable laptops..
