Samsung Unleashes i8910 Handset In UK

Formerly dubbed as Omnia HD, Samsung’s highly anticipated ‘i8910 HD’ handset has launched on Orange network in UK.

The all new impressive handset from Samsung includes several outstanding features to lure phone fashionistas worldwide. This is the first ever handset in the industry that offers 720p high definition (HD) video camera, which lets users to shoot videos at the rate of 24 frames per second. In addition, the company claims that the handset includes world’s largest AMOLED screen, which is 3.7-inches.

Photography enthusiasts would surely appreciate its high-quality 8-megapixel camera that further includes autofocus and several other photography-related features, such as Face Detection, Blink Shot, Smile Shot, and Panorama.

Other features include a spacious 8GB of internal memory, a FM radio, GPS capabilities, an accelerometer, a compass, MP3 player, Wi-Fi connectivity, a light sensor, a proximity sensor and support for high storage capacity MicroSD cards.

Powered by the latest Symbian S60 platform, the handset offers support for XviD, DivX, Real, WMV and MPEG4 videos, AAC/AAC+, eAAC+, and WMAs video audio.

Orange offers this remarkable handset for free on a 24 month contract for £40 per month, in which a user will get unlimited texts and 1200 minutes.
