Motorola All Set to Roll Out the Milestone in Europe

Leading telecommunications major Motorola is all set to roll out its much vaunted Droid smartphone in Europe and its christening it as the Milestone.

The Milestone is based on Google’s Android mobile operating system and it boasts a bouquet of striking features that can give any smartphone a run for its money.

The phone offers a full QWERTY keyboard and comes with large a 3.7” high-resolution touchscreen, a 5Mp camera along with 16 GB removable storage drive.

It also scores high on connectivity with its support for 3G, Bluetooth along with Wifi and A-GPS and offers distinctive features like turn by voice guidance and support Google Maps Navigation and access to the Android app store.

Incidentally the Milestone is planned to be initially released in Germany on the O2 network and it is reported to sport a price tag of over €404.

According to a story carried by the Boy Genius Report, the specs for the smartphone being introduced in Germany are quite similar to the ones that the Motorola Droid sports in the United States.

Besides Germany the phone is likely to be initially launched in Italy while its release in UK is expected to take some time.
