BlackBerry Bold 9700 Rolls Out On Vodafone Network

BlackBerry Bold, the much vaunted smartphone from Research in Motion(RIM) stable, is now available on the Vodafone network and the carrier is rolling out some lucrative deals to entice potential customers.

It is important to note that the phone is also available on the T-Mobile network and with Vodafone coming into the picture prospective users will now have the choice of different tariff plans.

The BlackBerry Bold boasts of a user friendly keyboard and it sports connectivity options like 3G and Wi-Fi, in addition it also scores highly on battery life as it offers a 6 hour talk time while it claims to have a standby time of up to 17 hours.

The new handset also features a large display which is characteristic of the BlackBerry range, offering a resolution of 480 X 360-pixels and it comes loaded with a host of productivity applications and the overall display is said to be more vivid than its predecessors.

Some other notable features include a micro-USB, 3.5mm headphone jack and it also features a touchpad that is highly responsive.

Most analysts expect the phone to become a big draw with professionals who have a strong preference for the BlackBerry brand and may like to graduate to a newer sophisticated model.
