Flash 10.1 to get multitouch gestures

When Apple announced that Flash support for the Iphone was coming soon, many assumed that the work that went into getting Flash to support the app phone's multitouch interface wouldn't be wasted, and would find its way into Adobe's grown-up products.

To prove the point, Adobe Platform Evangelist Lee Brimelow has demonstrated Flash applications running on both an HP Touchsmart PC and an Apple Macbook Pro, using pinch zooming and two-fingered rotates.

In the case of the HP demo, a full-screen transparent bitmap is swooshed around on an Aero desktop and, despite appearing a little on the laggy side, is pretty impressive.

Brimelow mentions that there are other gestures available in his blog video but doesn't actually say what they are or demonstrate anything beyond zooming and rotating.
