The company best known for its image manipulation software Photoshop, Adobe, has reported a large scale attack on its corporate networks and those of an undisclosed numnber of other companies.
In an official blog post, Adobe's Pooja Prasad said: "We are currently in contact with other companies and are investigating the incident. At this time, we have no evidence to indicate that any sensitive information - including customer, financial, employee or any other sensitive data - has been compromised."
We have seen unsupported reports that the attack came from within China's borders and Adobe has made no comment about the origin of the invasion.
The company did say that it anticipated that the full investigation would take quite some time to complete and that it would continue to use information gained from the attack to make infrastructure improvements to enhance security.
