Mesh claims DX11 notebook first

DX11 seems to be grabbing a foothold in the land of the swollen thumb, what with the first sub $100 card tipping up, and now what is purported to be the first DX11 capable notebook keeping gamers happy.

British company Mesh Computing has blessed us all with the Edge DX which boasts DX11 capability through its ATI Radeon 5650 chip, The 5650 with its 1GB of graphics memory. sits alongside an Intel Core i7 720 QM processor, comes with 4GB of DDR3 RAM installed, and has a full 1080p 15.6-inch display.

Mesh says it is currently taking pre-orders for the machine but we can't for the life of us find a price either in the press release or Mesh's website. Even a call to the sales hotline garnered nothing more illuminating than confused silence.

Apparently it's £900. No wonder they were keeping quiet about it.
