Net Communities launches

January 18th 2010, Farringdon, London Online publisher and leading technology advertising network, Net Communities has officially launched its new tech news website THINQ.

The site at , will be edited by successful and highly experienced IT journalist, Paul Hales and staffed by a team of sharp and enthusiastic writers.

"There are major technological advances happening every day," says Hales, "It's our job to present these diverse happenings to our readers in a way that informs and entertains while also giving pause for thought. As the name suggests, the site aims to provide coverage that provokes reflection; THINQING as a prelude to debate."

Hales teamed up with Net-Communities to launch THINQ.

“We've been planning the site launch since late 2009 and it will go live with content dating back to the start of this year,” said Net Communities managing director Andy Evans. “The content that Paul and his team have already generated for launch site demonstrates attention to detail, great insight with fantastic wit!"

Net Communities signed up Hewlett-Packard, the world’s biggest computer maker, to sponsor the launch of THINQ. The sponsorship focuses on HP’s Storage Works and was brokered by Lauren Glynn from HP’s digital agency m2m.

We believe it to be the perfect environment for our ‘IT decision maker’ audience,” said Glynn. “Having worked closely with Net Communities on a number of previous HP campaigns I have full confidence that they will maintain their reputation for achieving strong results and meeting campaign objectives.”
