Samsung claims 4G netbook first

Samsung has announced the world's first 4G capable netbook at this year's Mobile World Congress Phonefest in Barcelona.

Using the Korean company's own 4G chipset, Kalmia, and Long Term Evolution (LTE) technology, the upgraded N150 netbook is theoretically capable of achieving download speeds over a mobile network of 100 Mbps, around ten times faster than most current wifi connections.

Of course all of this is academic as 4G LTE networks have not yet been rolled out. America and Canada are expected to be the first countries to get the new cell infrastructure later this year.
