Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher has laid into comedian Peter Kay after Kay was less than complimentary about the wannabe hard nut's performance at the Brit Awards bash last night.
And, on a bad day for rock and roll, Gallagher used the medium of Twitter to vent a bit of spleen.
The saga began when Liam - the untalented one from the 80s boy band Oasis - picked up an award for best album of the past 30 years at the Brits, and promptly deposited the award in the crowd, along with the stage microphone.
As Gallagher ambled offstage host Peter Kay muttered "kn*bhead" to chuckles from the crowd.
And it seems Liam woke up a bit miffed this morning and turned to Twitter for vengeance.
"Listen up fat f*ck as a real northerner I was brought up 2 say sh*t 2 people's faces not behind their back. Live forever LG," scrawled Liam on his Twit page here.
While Liam did liven up a bland old evening last night by all accounts, we're concerned the bloke has a Twitter account. . He's obviously got ttime on his hands. Someone give the "real northerner" a job.
To make it worse, in the right-hand pic on his Twitter page, Gallagher looks a dead ringer for fellow award winner Robbie Williams.
