Microsoft plans to unveil its new line of Project Pink mobile phones early next week, according to a report in the Wall Street Journal.
The misguided software giant is to hold an launch event on April 12th at which it is expected to show off the phones, which the Journal says are made by Sharp and aimed at young people.
The Journal's "people familiar with the matter" say the phones will be big on social networking stuff.
The phones, developed under the code-name "Pink" will be offered through Verizon Wireless in the US. An international roll-out will follow.
The Journal said the phones will run Windows Phone 7.
