Lenova today introduced the L Series Thinkpad laptops designed for business, government and education use.
Armed with Intel Core i3 or i5 processors, the three models feature 16:9 HD anti glare displays at either 14 or 15 inches.
All come with multi-touch pads, will run for up to eight hours on a single battery charge and have all the ports you'd expect.
Starting at less then $700, the range has been designed to be 'military tough', meeting eight different army specs for "high and low temperatures, vibration, altitude, dust and more".
Lenovo also reckons these are the greenest lappies it has ever built with up to 18 per cent of the materials used coming from recycled sources.
They're also pretty energy efficient in use scoring 5.0 in Energy star tests and rated EPEAT gold.
Expect them in the shops mid May.
