Microsoft's marketing manager for Saudi Arabia has let slip that Project Natal will be launched in October.
It has long been rumoured that Microsoft's wave-your-hands-in-the-air-like-you-just-don't-care, controllerless controller system for the Xbox 360 games console would be unleashed this autumn, but this is the first time anyone officially linked with the Redmond Massive has let out a peep about the date.
Syed Bilal Tariq told Gamertag Radio that the camera-based device would get a simultaneous worldwide "somewhere in October" adding that the final date would be confirmed at this year's E3 gadgetfest in June.
The device is also expected to me properly named at E3 as Natal is thought to be a temporary codename. The general buzz also seems to be that a new slimmed down XBox will appear at the same time.
