Eidos Interactive has confirmed that the voice of Lara Croft in a forthcoming romp will be provided by British actress Keeley Hawes.
Hawes will voice-over the part of posh, chesty Lara in her new adventure, Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light.
"Lara Croft is such a strong and powerful character, but she also has an edge to her, which was great to portray vocally," said Hawes, who also adopted the role in prevous adventures, Tomb Raider Underworld and Tomb Raider Legend.
Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light will be a download-only game when it launches on Microsoft Xbox Live, Sony Playstation 3 and Steam this summer.
Hawes rose to prominence in BBC dramas Spooks and Ashes to Ashes and had a role in Michael Winterbottom's Cock and Bull Story.
As you can see here, Hawes as been practising getting herself out of sticky situations in preparation for the role.
