Virgin Media will introduce the diminutive HTC Widlfire fairly soon according to its PR department although we have yet to see a press release from them on the matter.
Strangely enough, unlike the HTC Desire or the Legend, mobile phone networks have been pretty shy when it comes to HTC's latest addition to its handset portfolio.
The HTC Desire and Legend brought on us poor journalists, a raft of press releases from every mobile phone network company in the country plus numerous PR agencies and HTC itself, both before they were released and afterwards.
None of this happened for the HTC Wildfire, whose release date is likely to happen over the next few months.
The only HTC smartphone, Virgin Media, has on offer as we speak is the HD2, a premium model which cost £25 per month and has a 4.3-inch capacitive touchscreen. The package includes 600 minutes, 3000 texts and unlimited data.
We expect the Wildfire to be available from as little as £15 per month on a low profile budget, possibly one with 300 minutes, unlimited texts and a data bundle.
