AdMob has released a new and improved version of it iPhone OS software development kit (SDK).
Mac Rumors reports that the Google-owned ad platform is set to bring new advertising publishing features to Apple's iPad tablet device.
AdMob said that the new advertising formats for the iPad include text and title format and image format. It will also be available in three sizes: 300×250, 728×90, and 468×60, complying with IAB standards.
The company said it had already started working with advertisers to deliver ads on the iPad, and was working with online retail giant Amazon to develop an advertising campaign for the Kindle.
AdMob has also offered an insight into future HTML 5-based tools for delivering ads on the iPad.
The company said: “Our new SDK is unified across all devices running the iPhone OS, which means that developers can download one binary for development across all Apple iPhone OS devices – iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad.”
