Dell Streak Smartphone Available From £25 Per Month

O2 has published the detailed tariffs of the Streak, the smartphone/tablet device that it is launching yesterday and which we have thoroughly analysed here and here.

Like the iPhone 3GS, it will be available in 16GB and 32GB versions with a price difference between the two varying from £100 to £59. depending on the tariffs.

O2 is sticking to its usual plans offering the choice of either 18 or 24 months contracts with the cheapest offer starting from £25 per month with 100 minutes, unlimited texts and data although you have to buy the Streak (16GB) for £149.

The 600 minutes is set to be the sweet spot at £35 per month with a free 16GB Streak smartphone. Those looking for a shorter 18 months contract will be paying £40 per month.

An "unlimited everything" tariff will costs £60 per month. O2 is also offering both versions of the Streak on a Simplicity tariff where you can get the 16GB device for £349 and the 32Gb for £399.

You will be able to purchase the Streak SIM Free for as little as £429 from Carphone Warehouse. All O2 packages include unlimited WiFi at BT Openzone and The Cloud hotspots. More about the device and O2's offers here (opens in new tab).
