Apple CEO Steve Jobs is expected to unleash its new iPhone 4G at the company's World Wide Developers Conference (WWDC) in San Francisco today.
The event, which brings together Apple developers from across the world, will see Apple CEO Steve Jobs giving a keynote speech at 6:00 PM UK time. Jobs is expected to reveal the new iPhone and provide more detail on the new iPhone 4.0 OS, as well as announcing Apple's new HTML 5-based Safari 5.0 web browser.
The iPhone 4G first entered teh public domain when tech blog Gizmodo leaked images and crucial details of an iPhone prototype, sold to it by a person claiming to have found it lying in a Californian bar.
The new iPhone is said to have dual cameras and high definition video capabilities. Gizmodo's report also revealed that the smartphone would run on the new iPhone 4.0 OS, will have greater battery life and will be faster than any of its predecessors.
