Internet company Yahoo has announced that its users will now be able to view and share content with each other on social networking platform Facebook.
The deal with Facebook is a part of the company's strategy to get back to the top of the global internet market.
The company said that the update would allow users to view their Facebook News Feed from their Yahoo page, Yahoo Mail and other websites belonging to Yahoo. The deal also brings enhanced content sharing options, with users being able to share online content from Yahoo Sports, Movies, News and Flickr, with their friends on Facebook.
A spokesperson for Yahoo said that the deal was designed “to give people one simple, trusted place to share information and connect. We think this offers great benefit to people across the Web, and it's key to helping Yahoo extend our reach and increase engagement.”
Facebook has not officially announced the new deal with Yahoo.
