Apple iOS4 gets early jailbreak

Apple's newly-renamed mobile operating system iOS4 has been jailbroken before it is even launched.

The update to the PwnageTool has been announced by a developer known has msft.guy and currently only works on the iPhone 3Gs.

The gold master of the soon-to-be-released OS was released to developers yesterday, and it was a matter of hours before a proof of concept video was posted to Youtube, exposing the innards of the next iteration of Apple's portable operating system.

The iPhone Dev Team, which is notorious for releasing (relatively) stable unlocking and jailbreaking tools for Apple's iDevices, has promised a full-blown release by the time iOS4 goes public, probably on June 21st.
