A security breach on phone operator AT&T's network has leaked the e-mail addresses of nearly 114,000 iPad owners in the US.
According to a report on the popular technology blog network Gawker Media, a group called Goatse Security hacked the data of the subscribers, and has cited Apple as the culprit behind the data leak.
The leaked data included users' e-mail addresses and an associated AT&T network ID that enables the hackers to identify the SIM cards of individual users.
Gawker Media blamed the e-mail leak on a serious error by Apple, which has currently refused to comment on the data breach.
Among the subscribers whose data has been compromised are several top company executives, high-ranking millitary personnel, politicians, media personalities and even some staff at the White House.
AT&T has confirmed the news, adding that the breach has now been secured.
