Hewlett-Packard (HP) announced the latest version of its HP Business Service Management (BSM) software bundle at the HP Software Universe 2010 conference on Tuesday.
HP BSM 9.0 is a common platform designed to manage complex applications, including those supported by virtual infrastructures, on-premises stacks, both private and public clouds, outsourced IT and software as a service (Saas).
HP BSM 9.0, described as a breakthrough in the development of the hybrid data centre, works to integrate and manage services as a single, hybrid ecosystem.
According to Robin Purohit, Vice President and General Manager of HP Software Products, one of HP's main aims is to come up with solutions that help companies automate complex applications and service management, allowing the companies to reinvest the money they save in innovation.
At the same event, HP also introduced (opens in new tab) its Test Data Management, Solution Management Services and new integrations between HP Quality Center and the Collabnet TeamForge.
