The Apple web site is still stubbornly refusing to acknowledge the news, but the iOS4 update is currently available through iTunes.
The software update, which includes over 100 new features including multitasking, smart application folders, an improved Mail application and a host of other goodies went live at about 6.10pm UK time as far as we can tell.
iTunes is currently reporting a 22 minutes download time on a 10Mb/s broadband line so it's either a giant file or the servers are extremely busy... we're guessing on the latter.
You can see a full list of what you can expect to work and what probably won't in our pre-release run-down, but we'll let you know if there are any surprises as and when we find them.
In the meantime, what are you doing reading this? Go get it!
