Virgin Media and Sky are the two most recommended ISPs in the United Kingdom, a study has revealed.
The study conducted by Satmetrix, a internet promotion company, says that subscribers to internet service providers Virgin Media and Sky are the most likely to remain loyal to the companies.
The study showed that UK ISPs TalkTalk and BT also benefit from a loyal customer base.
The survey was based on more than 24,000 responses from broadband users across Europe. Satmetrix received reponses from nearly 8,700 users in the UK who had recently subscribed to broadband services.
John Abraham, general manager of net promoter programmes at Satmetrix said: "These benchmarks allow companies to see how consumers rate them relative to their competitors when it comes to customer loyalty."
According to Abraham, surveys like this also help broadband customers to improve their online experience, by enabling them to learn more about what their internet service providers are doing.
