Google Earth user Zach Evans yesterday found an image of Jesus Christ in a Hungarian field.
The Sun (opens in new tab) reports that Evans, a sales executive from Southampton, discovered the image in satellite images of farmland in Puspokladany, Hungary, while searching for holiday destinations.
In a statement to The Sun, Evans said: “I'm not a religious person looking for images of Mary or Jesus in everything, but this is obvious.”
Over the years many people have claimed to have found the image of Jesus on a variety of objects.
The Sun explains that only last week, Alex Cotton saw Jesus' face in a stain on a drainpipe in Coventry, and, after inadvertently setting fire to a frying pan, Salford resident Toby Elles found the image burned into his pan.
Pictures of Jesus have also been found in the wood grain of an Ikea toilet door in Braehead, Scotland, and burned into the base of an iron in Massachusetts.
Google has managed to catch a number of strange images for both its Google earth and Street View services, having pictured an Aberdeen resident in a horse-head mask and a young couple kissing by the roadside.
