Samsung has refreshed its range of Q-series laptops with a trio of new models that all feature Intel's Core i3 and i5 processors complete with Turbo Boost features.
The Q330 comes with a 13.3-inch screen while the Q430 is a 14-inch model and Q530 ups the screen diagonal to 15.6-inch. All three laptops come with brushed metal bodies and their weights vary between 1.95Kg and 2.4Kg.
As expected, you'll find the latest technology like 802.11n Wi-Fi, onboard HDMI, up to 4GB RAM and 640GB hard disk drive. Samsung has opted for the Nvidia Geforce 310M onboard graphics solution for the smaller Q330 and a beefier Geforce 330M with 1GB DDR3for the two other models.
Apart from the gorgeous chicklet keyboard - which reminds us of the Macbook Air - the three Samsung laptops come with a 6-hr battery life and Samsung's proprietary AllShare feature which allows content to be seamlessly transferred between compatible products via DLNA.
You will also be able to charge smaller devices - like a phone or an MP3 player - from the laptops' USB ports even when they are switched off. The Samsung Qx30 series will be targeted at a mid-range market and has a starting cost of £599.
