Oracle has unveiled the Oracle Business Intelligence 11g that will offer rich visualisation, advanced reporting and performance optimisation tools, the company announced via blog post.
The software suite, launched by the company at an event on 7 July in London, will allow users to access a unified environment to analyse all data available from XML, relational and OLAP data sources.
Paul Rodwick, vice president of Product Management, Oracle Business Intelligence, said: “Oracle Business Intelligence 11g delivers the complete spectrum of business intelligence capabilities, spanning enterprise reporting, scorecards, dashboards, ad hoc queries, OLAP analysis, search, and actionable collaboration on an integrated technology foundation.”

The company said that the Business Intelligence 11g comes with an enhanced scorecard application and enterprise reporting capabilities.
The new addition to Oracle's business intelligence vertical is built on unified Relational OLAP (R-OLAP), Multidimensional OLAP (M-OLAP) and enterprise reporting technologies.
